E-commerce Announced Creation of 1lakhs New Jobs

The fast-growing e-commerce sector in India will create thousands of jobs in its operational network to supply quick and quality items to the customers during the festive season this year.

Giants like Amazon, Flipkart, Jio Mart, Reliance Retail, and Myntra are preparing for the coming festive season. Amazon India said in a statement that it is opening 1.10lakh jobs this time. The company said that these include direct and indirect jobs in cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Banglore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow and Chennai. The global e-commerce company also announced hiring 55,000 tech experts worldwide this month.

E-commerce marketplace Amazon today announced the launch of its The great Indian Festival from October 4 this year.

Amazon, Flipkart has a big recruitment plan. Significantly, its eighth Big Billon Day festival is going to start next month. At the same time, Flipkart has also added 1000 new delivery hubs to its network, and that too wil employ about 1.15lakh people and another e-commerce company owned by it, Myntra, will employ about 11,000 people.

The majority of these new employees join Amazon’s existing network of affiliates and will support them in taking, packing, shipping and delivering customers’ orders safely and efficiently, the company said. The rent also includes customer service associates.
